About the Authors

Dad n MumAdv. John Joseph Nalloor has written several biographies on Indian Church Leaders and on Indian Church History dating back to Saint Thomas, the apostle of Christ. His writings focus on documenting the rich and oral history of the Syrian Churches in India in English.

Realizing the modern reality of an ever-increasing number of church members around the world not fluent in Malayalam or born and raised up outside Kerala, Adv. John Joseph decided to research and translate church history only available in Malayalam and in hard to find books into English eBooks. His mission focuses on making church history and biographies freely available to a global audience through pdf eBooks that can be accessed by any device with an Internet connection.

A lawyer by profession, he joined the Bar in Indore, Madhya Pradesh and later shifted to Chengannur, Kerala where he served as the junior of renowned lawyer Adv. C. Thomas. He later worked with The British Bank of the Middle East (now HSBC) Dubai, U.A.E until his retirement. He continues to be a practicing member of the Chengannur Bar Association.

Adv. John Joseph was one of the founding directors & Hon. Treasurer of the Bible Society in the Gulf. He was a senior member of the Mar Thoma Church, Dubai Parish and served in various roles over numerous years as Sunday School Headmaster, Yuvajana Sakhyam Secretary, Parish Secretary and Parish Vice President.

He also has more than five decades of experience in Christian Education for Children and Youth Ministry. His writings on Indian Church History and church leaders are recognized, accessed and cited by newspapers, magazines, websites, researchers, theological students, Sunday School teachers and students, historians and churches around the world. His work has also been cited by many researchers, theological students and historians in their books, theses and publications. Many churches around the world also use information on our social media platforms in their religious education books and weekly newsletters.

I am so proud to say that Nallor Uncle and Grace Aunty were my Sunday School teachers at Dubai Marthoma Church. They were passionate teachers who spread God’s love and The Gospel ….they were great influencers in moulding our thinking:helping us to see Christ through the works of Christian believers around the world.
Thankyou for fueling the Christ flame in our hearts and I assure you that we have got this flame shining even brighter for our Master, Jesus Christ !
